Style:
Large ship cruising.
Fellow Passengers:
Generally Australians and New Zealanders, however our cruise had a large contingent of Americans.
Dress code:
Smart casual with two formal nights.
Food & beverage:
Loved the Crown Grill, also the Café Caribe which had themed lunches – pasta, seafood etc.
Dining tips:
Always make a booking if you want to try a speciality restaurant otherwise you'll miss out.
Entertainment:
They had movies under the stars, a magic act, movies on the big screen, live shows, cooking demonstrations and Discovery at Sea seminars amongst many other things to do.
And for drinks:
We bought the coffee card – excellent value for money.
On-deck:
My kids loved the hamburgers and ice creams on deck.
Summary:
We did the trip around New Zealand to Hobart and Sydney, sailing Milford Sound was the definite highlight. Sailing as a family was great fun and we can't wait for the next one!
