Style:

5 star luxury cruise line. Traditional cruising harking back to the White Star Line days. British at heart, no matter where you are in the world Afternoon Tea will be served at 3.30pm sharp by white-gloved waiting staff.

Fellow passengers:
Mainly British and North American. Definitely for the well traveled, discerning, traditional traveler with itineraries to take you on a journey around the globe.

Dress code:
Formal nights usually involve a themed Ball and account for about a third of your days on board. For the other, informal evenings the dress code is smart yet relaxed-jackets but no ties and cocktail dresses. For more casual dining there are also plenty of options to choose from.

Food & beverage:
Whether your accommodation means you're dining in the Britannia Restaurant or the Princess Grill or the Queens Grill everything is beautifully presented and offered with wines that compliment your choice perfectly. Often what's on the menu reflects where you are in the world as the chefs make use of fresh local ingredients. Buffet dining is also available throughout the day and until late evening.

Dining tips:
The Golden Lion Pub is a must – a traditional pub lunch served every day, with classic favorites such as fish and chips and cottage pie.

Entertainment:
Queen Mary 2 is wonderfully grand. In her Queens Room, the largest dance floor at sea will be the setting for nights toremember. Illuminations is a luxury 3D cinema, a planetarium and a classical music venue. If you fancy a little shopping, fine boutiques centred around the ship’s Grand Lobby, provide a range of products from tempting souvenirs and gifts to exquisite jewellery and designer clothing.

And for drinks:
Cunard’s signature Commodore Club overlooks the bow of Queen Mary 2 and provides glorious panoramic views as you sail towards the horizon. An extensive selection of Martinis are available and you may even be tempted to try the Martini Mixology or Whisky Tasting classes.

On-deck:
The Canyon Ranch SpaClub is one of the largest spas at sea and is truly an indulgent experience. Listen to piano music before having a full body massage and you will be on another level of relaxation!

Summary:
For a special occasion, once in a lifetime Cruise which takes you away from the ordinary and takes you back in time. It's an unforgettable experience.
